Lien is one of the founding lawyer of Lien & Lin law firm. He has been practicing for many years. He is very good at domestic civil, criminal, and administrative litigation, representing many listed and counter companies in litigation and arbitration, and serving as a perennial legal adviser. He specializes in intellectual property rights cases, and has won high patent infringement compensation for clients. Also, he has represented in well-known trademark disputes in Taiwan and abroad, and has cooperated with government agencies on insurance law research projects.
Lien graduated from NTU, the first-rank university in Taiwan. He holds a Master’s degree in Tunghai University’s Law Department and studies a Ph.D. in International Tax Law Group, Law School of Xiamen University in China. After obtaining Taiwan’s lawyer license in 2003, he has served as an assistant of judges, lawyers employed by law firms and so on. In 2011, he has been qualified for bar exam and got lawyer license in China and practice law until now.
In 2009, Lien conducted arbitration cases on behalf of domestic pharmaceutical factories and foreign pharmaceutical factories, and successfully obtained favorable arbitration results. Since 2011, they have conducted merger and acquisition negotiations for customers of another pharmaceutical factory and participated in international arbitration ICC cases in 2012 and 2016. In addition, he began to specialize in China legal system in 2010 and obtained the qualifications of lawyer in China. He carried out business in Fujian Union Reliance Law Firm, assisted clients in drafting legal plans for China investment and franchise chains, and was responsible for the consultation of China laws and taxation.
